Sanjay Lalbhai is the Chairman of Arvind Ltd, a US$1.5 Billion Indian conglomerate. It was under his leadership that Arvind has become one of the largest manufacturers of woven textiles in India, and one of the largest denim fabric manufacturers in the world. He was also responsible for acquiring India’s first denim brand – Flying Machine – in 1981 and for guiding the process of building Arvind’s current impressive apparel brand portfolio. He also serves on the board of several premiers educational and research institutes. He is the President of Ahmedabad Education Society and Ahmedabad University, Chairman of Council of Administration of Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association and a member of the Council of Management of the Physical Research Laboratory. Mr. Lalbhai believes that addressing societal concerns and creating a long-lasting benefit to society is integral to the business strategy and a duty of every business leader. He provides strategic leadership to Arvind’s CSR initiatives as Trustee to SHARDA Trust ─ the CSR arm of the company. Punit Lalbhai is Vice-Chairman of Arvind Limited, and leads Arvind's Advanced Materials, Engineering, and Agribusinesses. He also spearheads initiatives in sustainability, CSR, and Innovation at Arvind. He has an MBA from INSEAD and a Masters of Environmental Science from Yale University. His date of appointment to the Board was the 27th July 2012 and his tenure as on 31st March 2023 is 10.68 Years

Mr. Kulin Lalbhai is the Vice Chairman of Arvind Limited. He is driving new initiatives in the consumer businesses of the group. He has been instrumental in setting up several new retail concepts and also spearheads the group’s digital initiatives. He also plays an active role in the overall Corporate Strategy. Kulin holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Stanford University. Prior to his current role, he has also been a management consultant at Mckinsey & Co. His date of appointment to the Board was the 27th July 2012 and his tenure as on 31st March 2023 is 10.68 Years

Mr. Jayesh K. Shah is the Director and Chief Financial Officer of Arvind Limited, the flagship company of the Lalbhai Group, having an annual turnover of US.$ 1133 million. He was working with the group in its various business divisions since 1985 and in the year 2002, he became Director on the Board. Mr. Shah has distinguished academic career and has extensive administrative, financial regulatory and managerial expertise with his vast experience in the field. He started his career in Garment division of the Lalbhai Group, and then textile division and also looked after all the financial aspects of the group companies, viz. Textiles, branded garments, electronics, and telecom. He was also actively involved in merger, acquisition, expansion, diversification, project funding and Euro issue of the company. Being a dynamic professional, he has always been exploring new business opportunities and challenges. He successfully undertook a financial restructuring of the company during the period 2000 to 2002. He is also a director of Adi Finechem Limited and e-Infochips Limited. Mr. Shah is a member of the Governing Council of Ahmedabad Management Association. Mr. Shah is an Associate member of ICAI and a Commerce Graduate from Gujarat University. His date of appointment to the Board was the 20th November 2002 and his tenure as on 31st March 2023 is 20.37 Years

Mr. Kaul has been working with Arvind Ltd, since 1993. He joined Arvind group as a Management Trainee after completing Post Graduation in Textiles from The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

His assignments included Quality Assurance and Product Development, Operations and Business Process Reengineering. In 2002, Susheel took over independent charge of Khakhis Business division.  In 2007, he took over as the CEO of Shirting & Khakhis Businesses. 

Ms. Reena Bhagwati, 57, holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She holds directorship in the engineering companies of the Bhagwati Group - Bhagwati Autocast Limited, Bhagwati Spherocast Private Limited, & Bhagwati Filters Private Limited. She has spearheaded the Bhagwati Group by providing strategic, fiscal and operational leadership. Under her able leadership the companies have made remarkable and constant progress. Apart from her business interests, she runs her own NGO and is also deeply involved in various philanthropic activities. She has held various professional positions and has served as the President of the Institute of Indian Foundry men (IIF) during 2013-14, Chairperson of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Gujarat State Council during 2016-17, Gujarat State Representative in (CII) Western Regional Council for 2023-23 and is continuing Gujarat State Representative in CII Western Regional Council.

Ms. Ismet Khambatta is an architect, urban designer and furniture designer with over thirty years of professional experience in India and U.S.A. She is the founder and Managing Director of TDW Furniture Pvt. Ltd., a furniture design, manufacturing and Retail Company specializing in contemporary solid timber furniture, based in Ahmedabad. She also heads Façade Applications for Conservation of Energy (FACE), a Division of TDW that develops and manufactures exterior shading systems for buildings. Apart from her professional work, Ms. Ismet Khambatta contributes regularly as an external examiner or jury member on student design projects at the National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad and at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. She has twice served as a jury member for the Indian Institute of Interior Designers’ annual design awards. Ms. Ismet Khambatta has Masters in Urban Design (M.U.D.) from Rice University, Houston, USA and Diploma in Architecture (Dip. Arch.) from School of Architecture, Center for Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad, India. She is a Registered Architect, Council of Architecture, India and a Member of the Indian Institute of Architects and the Institute of Urban Designers, India. She is a visiting faculty at School of Architecture, Center for Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad, India and was a visiting faculty at Basic Design I & II and Faculty of Design, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Ms. Ismet Khambatta is on the board of various companies. She was also an Associate Architect, Partner and project Architect with various Institutes. Ms. Ismet Khambatta’s projects were published in “An Emancipated Place – Women & Architecture, 2000 Plus and Indian Architect & Builder. Ms. Ismet Khambatta’s paper on "The Meaning of Residence in Traditional Hindu Society" was first presented at an international conference on Traditional Dwellings and Settlements held at the University of California, Berkeley, in November 1988. This paper was published in the book of Bourdier, J. and Allsayad, N. (eds.) on Dwellings, Settlements and Tradition: Cross Cultural Perspectives, Lanham: University Press of America, 1989. Her date of appointment to the Board was the 01st August 2022 and her tenure as on 31st March 2023 is 0.66 Years

Mr. Nilesh Mehta, 62, has over forty years of experience in investing, financial services and business strategy – of which more than twenty years are in direct private equity investing. He is a Chartered Accountant and a management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He holds a Bachelors of Commerce from Gujarat University. He is cofounder and Managing partner of Access India Fund-1. Prior to founding Access, he was part of the founding team in India at Aureos, which managed SME private equity funds across developing economies. He has also earlier founded Infinity II, a technology fund, and also managed unlisted investments at Meghraj Financial. He is Charter Member of TiE, Mumbai. Mr. Mehta also sits on the Boards of a few public and private limited companies, and is one of the founder trustees of Aavishkaar Micro Venture Fund, set up to invest in socially relevant, sustainable and scalable rural businesses.

Nilesh Shah is Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Co. Ltd. He has over 25 years of experience in capital markets, having managed funds across equity, fixed income securities and real estate for local and global investors. In his previous assignments, Mr. Shah has held leadership roles with Axis Capital, ICICI Prudential Asset Management, Franklin Templeton and ICICI Securities. He was the recipient of the inaugural Business Standard Fund Manager of the Year – Debt award in 2004. He also was part of the teams that received the best fund house of the year awards at Franklin Templeton as well as at ICICI Prudential. Mr. Shah is a gold medallist chartered accountant and a merit ranking cost accountant. His hobbies include reading and educating investors on financial planning. He has co-authored A Direct Take, a book on Financial Planning. His date of appointment to the Board was the 06th May 2015 and his tenure as on 31st March 2023 is 7.91 Years

Mr. Nagesh Pinge 65, is an Expert in Ethics, Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Internal Audit. He is a Chartered Accountant and Law Graduate from India. He has also completed Executive Education Program from The Stephen M Ross School of Business of the University of Michigan, USA. In a career spanning 40 years, he has worked with many organizations of repute like Tata Motors as “Chief-Internal Audit, Risk Management and Ethics”. Prior to that he has also served Reliance Retail Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd. and ICICI Bank and its Group Companies. He is an Independent Director in many reputed Companies. He is a past President of the Institute of Internal Auditors, India.
